It was in 1955 that Valentin Allaert started to make aluminium construction. Before that, he made windows, doors and hardware in steel, copper and bronze. His father Maurice was an Architect (First Rome Price), specialised in churches. After a while he took over his father’s roof tile company “Tuileries du Lauwberg”. His father by the way took over his father’s wood construction company. In 1980 Serge Allaert succeeded his father Valentin. Serge’s son Thomas joined him recently, he is the seventh consecutive generation in the building and construction sector.
Nowadays, Allaert is OTIIMA's Partner in Belgium, Netherlands and Scandinavia.

Allaert Aluminium has the goal to continue to profile itself as specialist in building related aluminium constructions, with special attention for the architecture.
